Kerchak character analysis

Kerchak is a big gorilla ( same size as Tublat ) that appears on the movie Tarzan. He is very strong and agile. Some people say that he is not so strong because he lost a fight with Sabor ( leopard ). But Kerchak won a fight against Tublat. So I use to say that there are two Kerchaks- the young one (the one who destroyed Tublat and saved a baby gorilla from a rampage of elephants) and the "senior" one ( who lost a fight with Sabor).
